The JSA (Single Anti-Plagiarism System) course available on the Polish MOOC platform
Our online course on the report interpretation in the Single Anti-Plagiarism System is available on the Polish MOOC educational platform. The course is primarily addressed to thesis supervisors. It covers the practical aspects of interpretation of the report which us generated upon the text analysis of a thesis or dissertation examined in order to determine if an act of plagiarism has taken place. The course also shows the uses of various JSA functionalities. By taking part in the course you will learn what kind of text manipulations are most commonly used to hide plagiarism – and how to detect them. By solving practical tasks it will be possible to test the JSA by scrutinizing an exemplary thesis to determine if an act of plagiarism has taken place. It will also be possible to familiarize yourself with the JSA interface. The course takes four hours but it can be broken down into parts, and then you have a week to complete it.
