The 9th Night at the Institute of Aviation
On 12 October 2018, we took part in the Night at the Institute of Aviation for the third time, looking at 20 aircraft, helicopters and even an F-16 fighter. Our Laboratory of Intelligent Information Systems was present among the 126 exhibitors. At the OPI PIB stand, visitors could play an eye-tracker game, arrange scientific jigsaw puzzles and win prizes.
The organisers planned unusual attractions for the visitors from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. This year, they could view, among others, an F-16 fighter, CASA C-295M, M-28B/PT Bryza, Antonov An-28TD and many others. The guests of the Night included the only Polish astronaut Mirosław Hermaszewski.
The Night at the Institute of Aviation is the major educational event in Poland devoted to aviation, space exploration and the promotion of engineering professions. This year, the event was attended by more than 43 thousand visitors.
