Successful R&I in Europe 2018
An international “Successful R&I in Europe 2018” networking conference took place on 15-16 March, 2018, in Dusseldorf. For the ninth time, scientists and entrepreneurs from different European regions gathered together to discuss research and innovations. The conference participants, by getting familiar with research conducted by colleagues in different European regions, had an opportunity to establish cooperation in order to work on research and development projects as part of the “Horizon 2020” initiative. Numerous “European projects seeking partners” workshops served that purpose. The workshops were divided topically: Nanotechnology, Materials and Manufacturing (MNM), Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Sustainable Economy, Energy, Life Sciences, Transport.
Our Institute was represented by Dr. Jarosław Protasiewicz, the supervisor of the Laboratory of Intelligent Information Systems. Dr. Protasiewicz delivered a speech about a platform designed by the National Information Processing Institute experts – the “Inventorum” during the workshop session “Information Communication Technologies (ICT)”. The speech title: “Inventorum – An Open Innovation Platform Connecting Business and Academia”.
