OPI PIB at the “AI & NLP Workshop Day”, the 1st edition in Poland
On 19 October 2018, a conference entitled “AI & NLP Workshop Day” will take place in Warsaw. Invited speakers include Marek Kozłowski and Maciej Kowalski from the Natural Language Processing Laboratory at the National Information Processing Institute (OPI PIB).
Representatives of OPI PIB will facilitate one of the workshops during the Natural Language Processing track. The speakers will represent the industry (Samsung, Applica, TomTom, FindWise or ToopLoox) as well as the academia (Warsaw University of Technology, Polish Academy of Sciences).
The aim of the conference (the 1st edition in Poland) is to conduct several workshops with a wide range of experts in the field of artificial intelligence and natural language processing. A number of working examples showing the use of data processing and data mining methods were prepared to be presented to the participants.
NLP stands for Natural Language Processing. NLP combines artificial intelligence and linguistics, and deals with automation of the analysis, comprehension, translation and generation of natural language by computers.*
