AI workshops for PhDs
A second edition of PhD workshops centering on artificial intelligence and machine learning had already taken place in our institute. The workshop was conducted by eminent experts in the field: professor Witold Pedrycz from theUniversity of Alberta, and professor Krzysztof Marasek from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. It was organized by Jarosław Protasiewcz, Ph.D. – the Manager of our Laboratory of Intelligent Information Systems.
LISI employees: Sławomir Dadas, Rafał Poświata, Michał Perełkiewicz, Marcin Białas and Andrzej Sadłowski – who are in the process of getting their Ph.D.s – took part in the workshops. The workshop was an ideal opportunity to exchange views on each other’s research done in the laboratory. During the workshops, Jarosław Protasiewicz, Marcin Mirończuk and Jakub Kierzkowski – all PhDs – presented their academic achievements. The discussions and presentations were closely followed by Tetyana Doroshenko – also a LISI employee – who plans to register for Ph.D. title conferment procedure.
The workshops took place on May 29-30, 2019.
