Beneficiaries- who can apply for funding?

Types of beneficiaries qualified for funding application submittance:

• Research divisions(With the exception of Research-Development centres)
• Universities
  
• Research divisions (as part of scientific and scientific-industrial consortia)
  
• National Research and Development Centre
  
• Divisions implementing foresight projects (non profit organisations eg.  Foundations and associations)
  
• Local county governments
  
• Non-profit companies created by the divisions listed above
  
• Minister of Science and Higher Education
  

What kind of projects can be funded?

The 1.1.1 Priority Axis funds exclusively :

• Identification of scientific research/ work development trends with the use of the foresight method by:
• The National Poland 2020 Foresight Programme and other, successive programmes
  
• Regional development strategies
  
• The preparation of strategies for separate scientific, regional and economic development (eg. polish biotechnology development strategy) both at a national and regional level
  
• Preparation of strategies for working technological bases in Poland
  

Funding rules

1.1.1 priority axis provides two ways of funds distribution.

• As a refund for qualified costs that have already been taken
• As an advance
  

The maximum qualified costs coverage is a 100%

Contest schedule

The priority axis 1.1.1 will hold only 1 contest a year. If a situation presents itself where the funds will not be used entirely, a second contest might be held during the year.
