Polish-Norwegian Research Fund

There was published by the Information Processing Centre (Fund Operator) Call for Proposals within the framework of Polish-Norwegian Research Fund. The announcement as well as other Fund related information and documents are available at the official website of the Fund: www.fbn.opi.org.pl.

The Fund was established within the allocation of the Priority No. 6 Academic Research of the Operational Programme – the EEA/Norwegian Financial Mechanisms. Its overall objective is to establish and strengthen a fruitful and long-term co-operation between Polish and Norwegian researchers focusing primarily on environmental and health research.

The total amount available for Call for Proposals is EUR 14 594 000

The Fund will provide grant assistance for projects submitted within two Activities:

Activity 1. Research projects which objective is to support implementation of joint research projects realised by Polish and Norwegian researchers within the areas of protection of the environment and healthcare.

Within this activity beneficiaries may receive grant assistance up to 2 000 000 Euro.

Activity 2 Workshops and seminars which objective is financing workshops and seminars facilitating co-operation of Polish and Norwegian researchers within the priority areas of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.

Within this activity beneficiaries may receive grant assistance up to 20 000.

The following institutions can be eligible beneficiaries research institutions that carry out regular academic research or development activities and non-governmental organisations constituted as legal entities in Poland and operating in the public interest, submitting the projects in the partnership with a Norwegian university or research organisation/ institution.
